Great Features for High Quality Stereoscopic Imaging: This microscope is designed for high quality viewing of a wide range of specimens. This microscope is manufactured with an internally rotating dual 2x - 4x stereo objective made from premium ground optical glass. Used in conjunction with the included wide field 10x (20mm) stereo eyepieces and .5x auxiliary objective, you can achieve magnifications of 10x, 20x and 40x right out of the box. Additional threaded auxiliary objective lenses are available in .75x, 1.5x and 2.0x powers. Combine an optional threaded auxiliary lens with a pair of optional 20x eyepieces and you can use this microscope at a dizzying array of magnifications: 10x, 15x, 20x, 30x, 40x, 60x, 80x, 120x & 160x!

Ergonomic Microscope Design / Heavy-Duty Industrial Boom Mount: This is a professional grade boom stand that is designed to be completely stable even when extended to its outer range. The 10 x 10 inch base piece alone weighs over 22 pounds and is stable as a rock. This stereo microscope also has ergonomic features to make your microscope viewing as comfortable as possible. The main microscope head swivels 360 degrees for viewing from any angle, and the head itself sits at a comfortable 45 degree incline. The eyepieces sit in a gemel type assembly, allowing for maximum flexibility in adjusting the interpupillary distance. There is a left eye diopter focusing adjustment, allowing for each eye to be focused independently, and molded rubber eyecups are provided for your comfort. The focusing knob is on both the right and left side of the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand. In addition, the entire microscope head mounts on a height adjustable base, allowing the entire scope head to be adjusted higher or lower to accommodate very large specimens. A small plastic dust cover to protect the microscope head is also included.

10w Fluorescent Ring Light is Included: This ring light provides even fluorescent light to the observation area -- and is a critical component for stereo microscopes on "boom" type mounts. The ring light attaches directly to the objective turret microscope. The thumb screw attachments mean you can remove the ring light in seconds, without detaching the entire mount. Unlike cheaper lights, this light is adjustable and offers a range of illumination brightness. Also included is a second, spare bulb. For temperature sensitive applications, we recommend a single or dual gooseneck fiber optic light system.
